Hi all
Arrived safe and sound in The Entrance just past Gosford as you can see by the Tracker thanks to Ron for the lend of the spot tracker. We have a couple great Photo's going over the Harbour Bridge but I can not get them on the computer yet.
The avg. speed is about 75 to 80 klm. Both bike are have small faults with the lights at times but the BSA has a few oil leaks. Traveled about 850 miles and BUMS not to bad yettt

Saturday, 12 January 2013
What's Coming
Get a copy of Old Bike Australasia this month as Jim Scaysbrook is going to write about the book, so I hope it is a good report and the start dates for trip will also be revealed soon.
The weekly Times is also going to have a piece shortly.
On the Sunday the 10th of Feb we will be at the All british day at Echunga in SA with another Book launch, Both Vern and Mike will be there also.
Here are a copy of Photo's that missed the book from 1953

Benalla Book Launch
On Thursday 10th
January we had the "Operation Transmatilda" book launch at the Benalla library,
the home of Renold Chains where it all started back in 1953.
With both the
original riders and a big surprise to me two of Mr. Mackenzie “who was the
Manager of Renold Chains” daughters Elizabeth along with her husband Dom who
traveled from Melbourne and Angela who now lives in Bendigo making a special
trip to Benalla for the launch.
There were approx.
50 to 60 people that attended the launch all having the opportunity to meet and
greet Vern, Mike and myself.
A big thank you to
the Staff and the Friends of the Benalla library for inviting us, and providing
the afternoon tea. With your support
this made the book launch a night to remember for all those that attended.
